Barbara Luella Wyble

Obituary Date: Monday, January 25, 2016

Barbara Luella Wyble, aged 90, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2016 in Dawsonville Georgia after a brave 12 year struggle with Alzheimer’s.   Barbara was born January 5, 1926 in Dallas Texas daughter of Charles Joseph Park and Kathryn Luella Park.

Barbara enjoyed art and graduated at the age of 16 from Woodrow Wilson high school and graduated from University of Texas with a BA in Art.  She pursued a career in advertising. 

A close family friend introduced Barbara to James Stanley Wyble and he became the love of her life and they married on April 14, 1949.  They had four children, Barbara Diane, Kathryn Elaine, James Stanley Jr, and Charles Barry.

Barbara was devoted to her children and her husband.  Her sweet spirit and caring heart provided the perfect home environment.   All four children graduated from college and are successful in their careers and married.

Barbara also enjoyed fishing and was very good at it.  She and Stan hosted vacations at their lake house for the family and friends and those were the most memorable fun times for their children and grandchildren.

Her love for art continued and she advanced her skills through lessons and Art groups who traveled the world and she became an awarding winning artist in multiple media. She loved to paint and it was her passion.  She truly was an amazing Artist and her work loved by all.

She also had a passion for dogs as her Dad did. She often told stories how her Dad would go for a walk and come home with 3 or 4 strays needing care. She loved and care for all dogs and even at her last moments, just cherished petting her Grand dog Brandi.                   

She was devoted to her Husband, Stan, and he her. They were married for 66

years and just were side by side through life supporting and loving each other.

She is survived by her husband Stan, her children Diane, Kathryn, Jim, and Barry her grandchildren, John, Brian, David, James, Katie, Brandon, Allie and her great grandchildren LJ , CJ, Brielle, and John.

Private memorial service will be held at a later date.
