Trini René Grizzle Davis

Trini René Grizzle Davis passed away in her sleep from this earth into Glory on January 23, 2016. She passed away from ongoing health issues regarding Myotonic Dystrophy.

Trini was a lifetime member of Lumpkin County. She was always happy and considered herself very “lucky” in this life. Trini was born to Larry and Loretta Grizzle February 3, 1964. She graduated from Lumpkin County High School in 1982.

Prior to becoming disabled with Myotonic Dystrophy, Trini worked in various fields that she enjoyed and always enriched the lives of those she met. She always had a “story” and a smile that would lighten any situation. Those who knew her would all agree.

She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Grizzle; grandparents, Raleigh and Annie Grizzle, Howard and Clifford Wilkins.

She is survived by her mother, Loretta; sisters and spouses, Sabrina and Wayne Gooch, Nicole Ash and George Oswell; nieces and nephews, Lauren and Eric Epperson, Audrey Ash and Austin Ash; special companion, Pete (Elbert) Abercrombie; also numerous family and friends.

Trini is also survived by her 4-legged best friend, Luke.

Trini was a member of Concord Baptist Church and will be laid to rest there.

Her humor of life, her smile, and her phone calls will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services for Trini are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, January 25, 2016, at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell, Rev. Terry Head, and Rev. Tony Allison will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 2 PM until 9 PM and again on Monday from 10 AM until 2 PM.
