Myles Edward Goss, age 79, of Cumming passed away Friday, January 22, 2016. A man with a dedication for work, family and friends; he caught chickens all the way to the bitter end. Myles was a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed helping his family and friends. Myles is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Jean Carder Goss; son, Doug Goss and twin great grandsons, Cooper and Carder Goss.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Jane Goss of Alpharetta; granddaughter, Jessica (Tim) Day of Cumming; grandson, Stephen (Kristina) Goss of Cumming; great grandchildren, Cody Bagley, Summer, Clyde and Harper Goss; brother, Ronnie Goss; sister, Joan (Raney) Rhoden; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry McCormick, Rev. Jerry Orr and Rev. Rex Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
