Charles Leon Walters

Mr. Charles Leon Walters (also known by many as Henry and/or Charlie), age 53, of Mulkey Road, Toccoa, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the residence. 
 
A son of the late Joe Mack and Sarah Elizabeth Gloss Walters, he was born on August 4, 1962 in Hartwell, Ga. He lived in North Carolina for several years, and has lived in areas of South Georgia and Toccoa for the past thirty years. He was employed as a Union worker and later at CP&L Power Plant in Asheville, N.C. He also had various other jobs that consisted of his welding, electrical, and other skills. He had a great love for the outdoors and his Harley.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Walters. 
 
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Ann Walters of the home, three daughters, Dana (Don) Walters Pulliam, Samantha Williams, and Jennifer Williams all of Toccoa,  eight grandchildren, two brothers, Joe Walters and Doug Walters both of Toccoa, and by his sister, Juanita Walters Krul of Toccoa. 
 
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, 1:00 P.M., at The Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Elrod officiating.
 
The family will be at the home located on Mulkey Road and will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 Noon until the service time.
