Gary Lynn Mahan

Mahan, Gary Lynn, 73 of Flowery Branch, GA. was reunited with the Lord on Monday, January 11, 2016. He passed peacefully surrounding by his loving family.

 
Gary was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on September 12th, 1942. He was the son of Donald Mahan and Olive Shlueter. Gary enjoyed cruises and once retired in Lake Placid, Fl. spent time traveling the US in his RV, singing and visiting the homebound with others from church. He served in the Navy where he met his beautiful bride.

 
He is survived by his loving wife Carmen who he wed 8/10/1963; sister, Sharon Nyberg (Chuck); son, Scott Mahan (Rosie); daughters, Cheryl Goodis (Tom), Lynn Wilson (Jason), Cathy McCarthy (Chris); grandchildren, Cheyanne, Shelby, Brooklynn, Michelle, Chad, Kelly, Adam, Lauren; and he was blessed with 8 great grandchildren.
 

A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Placid Lakes, 116 Cleveland Ave NE, Lake Placid, FL 33852.
