Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday January 15, 2016 in Wards Funeral Home Chapel for Nellie Mae Miller, 87, of Gainesville. Rev. Phil Carpenter and Rev. Harley Ingram will officiate with burial to follow in Sugar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening at the Funeral Home from 6pm – 8pm . Mrs. Miller passed away Wednesday January 13, 2016.
Mrs. Miller is the daughter of the late David Albert Parks and Nellie Cornelia House Parks . She had worked for the old Southern Bell Telephone Company and was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by a son Lee Roy Miller, granddaughter, Laura Marie Miller, three sisters and three Brothers.
