Mary Lou Armour Simonds

Mary Lou Armour Simonds, 77, of Braselton passed away January 11, 2016 following an extended illness.

Born in Lula on November 22, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Dock and Paralee Armour. She was a very loving and caring, hardworking, wife, mother and grandmother to all.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Simonds; her brother, Bud Armour; her sister, Loutene Anderson and son in law, Tony Shoemake.

Mrs. Simonds is survived by her son and wife, Doug and TC Simonds of Maysville; her daughters and their husbands, Teresa and John Grobe, Jackie and George Petrisko her daughter, Beverly Shoemake all of Braselton; her son, Danny Simonds of Gainesville; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Ken Barrett will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
