Shelby Jean Coker

Mrs. Shelby Jean Coker, age 56 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 4 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Coker was born September 5, 1959 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late James Jarrard and Jacqueline Miller Jarrard.  She was employed with Reid Café and was of the Baptist Faith.  Shelby was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Dana Frazier and Donna Jarrard and her granddaughter, Cecily Hamilton.

            Mrs. Coker is survived by her husband, Brian Coker of Gainesville, her children, Brandi & Josh Poole of Cleveland, Natasha Pirkle of Cleveland and Brian Coker, Jr. of Gainesville, sisters & brothers-in-law, Deborah & Billy Jones of Gainesville and Stacy & Stacy Sullens of Hiawassee and 3 grandchildren, Kale Hamilton, John Sanders and Rileigh Sanders.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
