Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Jack Paul Deadwyler, age 71, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, January 8, 2016. Mr. Deadwyler was born in Gainesville, Georgia, a son of the late George Hilton Deadwyler, Sr. and the late Lucille Daub Deadwyler. Mr. Deadwyler was retired from the Georgia Department of Public Safety as an enforcement officer. In addition to his parents Mr. Deadwyler is preceded by a brother, George Deadwyler, Jr., and a sister Dorothy Dowdy.
Survivors include a daughter, Courtney Boehlke of Jefferson, sons; Dustin Deadwyler and his wife Casey of Winterville, and Daniel Deadwyler of Jefferson. Sisters; Mary Griffin of Gillsville, and Nancy Abercrombie of Oakwood. Six grandchildren; Claire Boehlke, Christian Deadwyler, Kaleb Deadwyler, Devin Deadwyler, Reed Deadwyler and Icon Deadwyler.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday, January 11, 2016 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Mr. Storey Tate officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church or Charity of one’s choice.
