Tommie Emmett Allen

            Mr. Tommie Emmett Allen, age 81 of Cumming, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Embracing Hospice following a brief illness.

            Funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 2 - 4 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home. 

            Mr. Allen was born November 18, 1934 in Teague, Texas to the late Tommie Oscar Allen and Ruby Maude Foster Allen. He was a retired marine mechanic and was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Frances Blakeley.

            Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Katherine Allen of Cumming, his children, Sandra Maurer of Cumming, Randall & Brenda Wilson of Baldwin, Faye & Mark Withrow of Flowery Branch and Tina & Michael Keough of Cumming, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and 2 God children.
