Margaret Pardue, 89, of Talmo passed away on January 7, 2016 at Northridge Hospital.
Born in Gainesville, GA. on June 18, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Mildred Latimer. She was owner and operator of Pardue Enterprises, a member of Loudsville United Methodist Church and later became a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church. She was a former president of the Ladies aux. for the Elks Club. Mrs. Pardue cooked for the preachers at camp meeting. She was also a notary public and a member of Fit for Life.
She was a devoted wife to Claud Pardue.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Claud Pardue and son Jeff Pardue.
Mrs. Pardue is survived by her son Greg Pardue of Talmo; daughter and son in law, Elaine and James Simmons of Cornelia; 6 grandchildren, Greg Pardue, Jason Pardue, Ginger Simmons, Joy White, Scott Simmons, Eli Tucker; 7 great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2016 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Knight and Jason Pardue will officiate. Interment will be in Loudsville United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
