Dean White

Mr. Dean White, 86, Gainesville died Wednesday January 6, 2016 at the Bell-Minor Nursing Home.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. White was the son of the late Robert Grady and Bessie Chambers White.  Mr. White was a retired poultry and cattle farmer.  He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sisters-in-law, Mary Nell White, Gainesville; Mary Nell White, Clermont; Margaret McKinney, Gainesville, Barbara Conner, Gainesville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charlie and Bobbie Conner, Lula.  a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Mr. White is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Frances Conner White, brothers, Steve White; Bob White; Tony White; sister, Sylvia Barnes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 9, 2016 at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Baker and Brian McKinney will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with Eric Adams officiating.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Friday January 8 from 4-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church or ones favorite charity.
