Jeffery Louis “Jeff” Fleming,

Mr. Jeffery Louis “Jeff” Fleming, age 46 of 1024 Defoor Road, Eastanollee, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at his residence.

A son of Jerry Fleming and the late Nancy Cartwright Thomas, he was born December 22, 1969 in Easley, South Carolina having lived most of his life in Stephens County.  He was employed with Toccoa Casket for a number of years and later with Eddy West as a furniture maker.  He was of the Baptist faith, loved fishing and being outdoors.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Cartwright Thomas.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Jerry and Nell Fleming of Martin, Georgia; daughter, Laura Fleming of Toccoa, Georgia; step-father, Tim Thomas of Toccoa, Georgia; brothers and sister-in-law, Andy and Michele Fleming of Toccoa, Georgia and Stephen Fleming of Martin, Georgia; step-brother, Bob Cape and wife Donna of Martin, Georgia; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
