Harold Claudis Todd

Mr. Harold Claudis Todd, age 95 of Hospital Drive, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A son of the late Kendall C. and Gertrude Brackett Todd, he was born January 8, 1920 in Elbert County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Snellville, Georgia.  He was a graduate of Toccoa High School, attended Piedmont College and later received his degree in pharmacy at Mercer University in Atlanta.  He was a retired pharmacist with Eckerd Drugs and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, WWII.  He was a member of Snellville First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, church treasurer and the men’s choir.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Addison Todd in 2013, by three sisters, Helen Todd, Mildred Todd Davis and Margaret Todd Cunningham and by a niece, Karen Davis.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Kendall and Latrelle Todd of Lawrenceville, Georgia; special nephew and caregivers, Mike and Joann Carroll and niece, Renee Carroll; number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 7, 2016, 1 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Andy Childs and The Reverend Jerry Stowe officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and should assemble at the funeral home by 12:30 PM, Gary Davis, Kendall Todd, Jr., Mark Stewart, Don Worthington, Hank Knight and Joe Addison.

Interment will be in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Harold Todd.
