Mrs. Vivian Clark Singleton, 95 of Gainesville died Saturday January 3, 2016 at The Oaks on Limestone.
A life long resident of Hall County, Mrs. Singleton was the daughter of the late William H. and Velvie Lou Benson Clark. She was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Singleton is preceded in death by her husband, G.A. "Red" Singleton, former Police Chief for the City of Gainesville.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Terry Cornett, Marietta, GA; granddaughter, Chriseda Howard, Decatur, GA; special niece, Linda Underwood, Talmo, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 6, 2016 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Raymond Latty will officiate. Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
