Cecil Earl Motes

Mr. Cecil Earl Motes age 79 of Gainesville, Georgia passed away on January 01, 2016 at Gold City Nursing Home in Dahlonega, Georgia following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday January 04, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Drewery Loggins. The family will receive friends on Sunday January 03, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Motes was born on April 12, 1936 to the late Early Motes and Ethel Lovell Motes. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith and was self-employed and worked as a block mason. He is preceded in death by his parents, Granddaughter Tammy Ann Archer, Brother Lester Motes, Brother Cohen Motes Brother Owen Motes, Brother Marvin Motes, Sister Thelma Dean, and Sister Jean Turpin.
 Mr. Motes is survived by his spouse Maxine Motes, brother Travis Motes, brother Howard Motes, daughter Edith Tran, daughter Deborah Standridge, daughter Lacey Motes, and granddaughter Angel Smith, Kristen Bohannan, Jenny Standridge, granddaughter Chasity Cheeks, and 12 Great Grandchildren
