Albert Lee Watkins

Mr. Albert Lee Watkins, age 92 of Dandridge, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Sevierville Healthcare and Rehab.

A son of the late Jim and Roxie Keener Watkins, he was born August 6, 1923 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived in Clayton, Georgia for 10 years and the last several years in Tennessee.  He was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran, retired from Lockheed Corporation, a member of Battle Branch Baptist Church in Clayton, Georgia and an avid golfer.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Whiten Watkins and by his second wife, Ruth Ring Watkins in 2008.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, LaDonna and Tony Ward of Dandridge, Tennessee; son, Roger Lee Watkins of Acworth, Georgia; two grandchildren, Kristin Wilson and Jeramiah Senter.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 1, 1 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Mr. Larry Cannon officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 11:30 AM until the service time.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by the V.F.W. Post 4346.  Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Albert Lee Watkins.
