Edward Lee Gerrin

Edward Lee Gerrin, age 59 of Alto, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Gerrin was born December 10, 1956 in Demorest to Dorothy Jean Wade Gerrin and the late Guy Edward Gerrin. Edward was a drawing frame technician for Mt. Vernon Mills and was a member of Cornelia Congregational Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his father Guy Edward Gerrin and mother-in-law, Christel Allen.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Gerrin, Alto; sons and daughters-in-law, Lyle and Jessica Gerrin, Alto; Tyler and Dericka Millerstrom, Corpus Christi, TX; Timothy and Ashley Gerrin, Alto; mother, Dorothy Gerrin, Cleveland; grandchildren, Hannah Gerrin, Dakota Gerrin, Laylanna Millerstrom, Brody Millerstrom; father-in-law and wife, Tony and Bev Allen.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, January 3, 2016 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry Benfield, the Rev. Clarence Reynolds and the Rev. Danny Kastner will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
