Pauline S. Clark, 90, of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 following a sudden illness.
Born on February 16, 1925 she was a lifetime resident of Hall County. She worked as a textile worker at New Holland Mill, Chicopee Mill and retired from Gainesville Mill. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her mother, Lula Smith; father, Charlie Smith, husband, Zeb Clark; sisters, Annie Villyard, Ruth Gillespie, Jessie Lofton, and Sarah Chastain, son, Marlin Clark
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Shirley and Bobby Smith, Dianne and Robert Holman, Marvin Clark and Ashley Powers, Donald and Dawn Clark, Sandra and Donald Pinson; grandchildren, Donna and Chuck Stowers, Tadd and Amanda Edmondson, Star Davidson, Tim Holman, Alex and Eva Clark, Sarah Basham, Jennifer and Chris Young, Samantha and George Wrisley, Michael Pinson; great grandchildren, Taylor Stowers, Summer and Andy Standridge, Coby Edmondson, Trent Edmondson, Bentley Davidson, Blakeley and Adeley Young, Atom Clark, Avery Giles; great-great grandchild, Paisley Standridge; sister, Maxine Griffin; several sisters in law as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Franklin Grant and Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from
2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
