Billy James Brown, age 82 of Eastanollee, GA passed away Monday December 28, 2015.
Mr. Brown was the son of the late D.L. and Ruby Swaims Brown and was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Brown; a sister, Ina Austin Shirley and Carolyn Brown Baird. He was a retired dry clean presser with Hometown Cleaners and a member of Beulah Land Ministry.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Faye Pless Brown of the residence; 4 sons, Larry Brown, Danielsville, Roger Brown, Toccoa, William Brown, Sandy Cross, Kenneth Brown, Cannon; 4 daughters, Dorothy Duncan, Danielsville, Ann Chitwood Cornelia, Susan McGhee, Eastanollee, Kathy Wilson, Eastanollee; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday December 31, 2015 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel, Commerce with the Rev. Anthony Pless, Rev. Roy Pless and Rev. Scott Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday December 30, 2015 at the funeral home.
