Miriam Freeland Adams

Miriam Freeland Adams, 68, of Gainesville passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015.

Born in Dahlonega, Ga on August 10, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Dorsey Freeland and Alla Lee Higgins Freeland.  Mrs. Adams had lived most of her life in Hall County.  She was a graduate of Lumpkin County High School and was retired from Christian Financial Concepts.  Mrs. Adams was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Adams.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Kathy and Donnie Brewster of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Timmy and Lawonna Adams of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Dillon, Amberly and Ashlyn Brewster of Gainesville, Micah and Noah Adams of Dahlonega; sister, Elizabeth Forrester of Gainesville; brother, Benny Freeland and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Rev. Stephen Adams, Rev. Steve Baker and Rev. Les Fuller will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
