Louise Kathrine Barker

  Mrs. Louise Kathrine Barker, age 86 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at New Horizon’s Lanier Park following an extended illness.
            Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Reverend Lamar Purcell will be officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
            Mrs. Barker was born May 19, 1929 in Northport, Virginia to the late Fred Wilson and Martha Cain Wilson.  She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Andrew Barker. 
            Mrs. Barker is survived by her grandson, Michael Edward Barker of Gainesville, her niece, Mary Demonbreun of Gainesville, her half-brother, Robert Elliott of Gainesville, her grandchildren, Andy Sargent, Pam Brooks and Earl Junior Demonbreun and her great-grandchildren, Danielle, Brianna, Karly, Denim and Bethany.
