David Larry Russell

Mr. David Larry Russell, age 52 of 135 Brown Circle, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A son of James and Faye Brady Russell, he was born August 24, 1963 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was employed with Sage Company, enjoyed fishing and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his parents, James and Faye Russell of Toccoa; wife, Donna Powers Russell of the home; daughter, Autumn Russell and Kevin Cox of Toccoa; three brothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth Russell of Cornelia, Georgia, Ronnie Russell of Toccoa, Georgia and Brian and Cyndi Russell of Westminster, South Carolina; sister, Sherri Russell of Toccoa, Georgia; mother-in-law, Johnnie Powers of Toccoa; two brothers-in-law, Douglas Powers and Jack Powers both of Toccoa, Georgia; number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 23, 2 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Harris Pressley and The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Allen Thompson, David Spencer, Weldon Walker, Ken Bayles, Steve Crisp and Keith Crisp.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. 

Interment will be in the Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. David Larry Russell.
