John Parnell Bondurant III

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. John Parnell Bondurant III, age 68 of Athens, Georgia who passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Athens, Georgia, after a brief illness.  He was born September 21, 1947 in Athens, the youngest son of John Parnell Bondurant II and his wife Mary Claire Brannon Bondurant.

He is survived by his son Stan (Donna) Bondurant and grandsons Andrew Parnell “Drew” Bondurant and Tyler Nicholas Bondurant of Columbus, Georgia; his sister, Mary Claire Bondurant Warren of Athens, Georgia, and brother, Emmet (Jane) Bondurant II of Atlanta, Georgia, 10 nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 23, 2015, in the new section of Oconee Hill Cemetery.  Friends and family are welcome to attend.
