Mrs. Mary Nell Cobb Harbert Ivester age 86, of 110 Pine Villa Drive, Toccoa passed away Thursday December 17, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A daughter of the late Tillman and Martha Bell Cobb; she was born September 29, 1929 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived all of her life. She was member of Refuge Baptist Church in Clarkesville and worked for Coats and Clark for a number of years. She enjoyed working in her yard, quilting, and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her husbands Walter Ed Harbert whom she was married to for 48 years, Roy Taylor and John Ivester along with siblings Ruby Gomez, Roy, Waymon, Dewey, Junior and Fritz Cobb.
Survivors include two sons Eddie Ray Harbert and Stevie Harbert, two daughters Susan Garland and Sandra Caudell, grandchildren Brad (Sharleen) Stinespring, Laura Harbert, Leslie (Craig) Leverett, Casey (Jessica) Caudell, Jamie (Josh) Dailey, Zack (Susan) Harbert, Dex Harbert and Cody Garland, 11 great-grandchildren and step-daughters Judy (Micheal) Collins, Debbie (Bobby) Walden, step-sons Phil (Sandy) Ivester, Jerry (Judy) Ivester, David (Pam) Ivester and Savilla (David) Shirley.
Funeral services will be held Sunday December 20, 2015 at Rock Creek Baptist Church at 4 P.M. with the Reverend Roger Elrod and the Reverend David Mitchell officiating. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at Acree-Davis Funeral Home from 2 P.M- 4 P.M and 6 P.M- 8 P.M. on Saturday. Interment will follow in the Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Jimmy Mitchell, Casey Caudell, Zack Harbert, Dex Harbert, Brad Stinespring, Ricky Cobb and Cody Garland.
