Bobby Lee Barnes

Bobby Lee Barnes, 76, of the Mill Creek Community Franklin NC, formally of Clayton passed away December 14, 2015. 

Bobby was born in Rabun County the son of Ruth Williams Barnes and the Late Roy Barnes. He worked for Georgia Power for 36 years and was a Manager of Electric Operations. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and the thing he enjoyed most was his family. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends.    

His father preceded Bobby in death. 

He is survived by his mother; wife Margie Pruitt Barnes of the home; two daughters Renee Barnes Moorhead (Rick) of  Clarkesville, GA; Kelly Barnes of Clayton, GA; a son Dan Barnes (Samantha) of Gainesville, GA; two grandchildren Deven E. Cole, Augustus Roy Barnes.

 The family will hold a memorial service in the Chapel of Beck Funeral Home December 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Brandon Breedlove officiating.
