Tyler Wayne Derrer

Obituary Date: Saturday, December 5, 2015

Tyler Wayne Derrer, age 31 of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015.

Mr. Derrer was born March 28, 1984 in Gainesville, Georgia to Douglas Edward Derrer and Jennie Linda McCullough Davis. He was a Service Team Director at MarineMax. Tyler graduated from West Hall High School, Class of 2002 and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Edward McCullough and his grandmother, Bernice Derrer.

Tyler enjoyed playing golf, loved working on cars and boats, traveling with family and being at his happy place on Lake Burton.

Mr. Derrer is survived by his father and step-mother, Douglas and Chrissy Derrer of Flowery Branch; mother and step-father, Jennie and Don Davis of Powell, Ohio; grandmother, Rayleen McCullough of Palmetto, FL; grandfather, Edward Derrer of Hoschton; aunt, Joy Fitzgerald of St. Petersburg, FL; aunt, Cindy Kersting of Hoschton; cousins, Brian (Jennifer) Fitzgerald, Jennifer Fitzgerald, Jason (Kristin) Aydelotte; Erin (JR) Garrett and 8 second cousins.

Thank you for being our son. Your shining light will forever be with us and guide us. We love you Tyler!
