Peggy Stevens

Peggy Stevens, 83, of Murrayville, GA. passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015.

Born on January 1, 1932 in Portsmouth, VA., she was the daughter of the late Robert Lindauer and Margaret Wayland Lindauer Brown. She retired from Gainesville Junior College (now known as University of North GA.) as Director of Personnel/ Comptroller Secretary. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church. Mrs. Stevens had lived in Hall County for the last 37 years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Stevens.

Mrs. Stevens is survived by her daughter and son in law, Kim and Garry Turner of Murrayville; sons and daughters in law, Mark and Sherry Stevens of Villa Rica, GA, Chris and Mary Stevens of Cornelia, GA; 6 grandchildren, Katie and Josh Wyatt, Courtney and Billy Buchanan, Chad and Jenna Cooper, April and Kevin Matson, Ross Stevens, Brad Stevens and Katelyn; 7 great grandchildren, Cooper, Oliver, Ansley, Tyler, Eleanor, Bryson, Kylee; sister, Barborie Capel of Portsmouth, VA.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Dr. Jerry Gill will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
