Clarence Wayne Shoemaker

Clarence Wayne Shoemaker, 68 of Danielsville died Monday Dec. 7. He was the son of late Clarence D. and Ruth Earlene Campbell Shoemaker and a US Army veteran of the Vietnam.

He is survived by a son, Steven Shoemaker, Augusta, GA; daughter, Karla Ann Shoemaker, W. Columbia, SC; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Dennis Dee Carrell, Ragley, LA; nephew, Danny (Laura) Carrell, Ottumwa, IA; niece, Jennifer (Hank) Smith, Ragley, LA; 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and special friends, Connie McCune and Allen Jackson, Danielsville, GA.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday at Ivie Funeral Home Danielsville Chapel with the Rev. Vaughn Howington officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 pm until time of funeral hour. Burial will be 11:30 am Friday at Georgia National Cemetery.
