Roger O’Neil (Roddy) Dougherty

               Roger O’Neil (Roddy) Dougherty, age 48 of Gillsville, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness.

               Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 3:30pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 2:00-3:30pm prior to the service.

               Mr. Dougherty was born June 7, 1967 in Gainesville, Georgia to Roger Lee Dougherty and Sandra Wallis Pope. He was a cabinet maker with Craftsman Cabinets.

               Mr. Dougherty is survived by his wife, Penny Dougherty of Gillsville; son, Justin Dougherty of Gillsville; mother and step-father, Sandra and Charlie Pope of Cleveland; father and step-mother, Roger and Ann Dougherty of Panama City Beach, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Danté Ragghianti of Alpharetta; sister and brother-in-law, Dell and Mark Lord of Buford; step-sister, Kimberly Moore of Hawaii; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Linda and Butch Hodges of Lula; nieces, Hannah Ragghianti and Sara White; nephews, Danté Ragghianti, III and Jesse Lord; great-niece, Tessa White and absolutely too many friends to count.
