Edna Aaron Meeler

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Edna Aaron Meeler, age 80 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Thursday, December 3, 2015.  Mrs. Meeler was born in Royston, Georgia the daughter of the late James W. and Lizzie Craig Aaron, was of the Baptist Faith and along with her late Husband Ken Meeler, operated Ken’s Restaurant in downtown Jefferson for eighteen years. 

In addition to her parents and her husband Mrs. Meeler is preceded by three brothers; William, James and Bobby Aaron.

Survivors include a daughter Denise Brooks and her husband Otis of Jefferson, grandsons; Craig and Kent Brooks of Jefferson, sister in laws; Carol Aaron and Doris Meeler.  Step granddaughter; Misty Jeans and family, step grandson; Barry Brooks and family, along with several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 5, 2015 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Dwayne Carroll officiating with burial to follow in Woodbine Cemetery with the following gentlemen honored as pallbearers; Chip Aaron, Craig Brooks, Ricky Aaron, Jason Thompson, Rusty Courson and Austin Carroll.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home 11:00 – 1:00 Saturday, prior to the service.
