Dorothy Cornelia Cain

Dorothy Cornelia Cain, 84, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in hospice care.

Born on October 15, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Leonard Tillman Phagan, Sr. and Evie Leigh Martin Phagan. Mrs. Cain worked for Southern Railway, Safeco Insurance Co. and Georgia Casualty Insurance Co.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cain is preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Cain, sons Tony Cain and Darryl Cain; son-in-law, Jerry Causey; brothers, Leonard Tillman Phagan, Jr. (Pete) and Lester Harold Martin.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Cain Causey of Flowery Branch; granddaughter, Marcie Cain Dobbs of San Francisco, CA; grandson, Robbie Cain of Los Angeles, CA and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Steve Webb will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center 2150 Limestone Pkwy # 222, Gainesville, GA 30501.
