Richard Edward “Eddie” Bruster, age 55 of Cornelia, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015.
Born in Montgomery, Alabama on November 21, 1960, he was a son of Bobbie Sue Wingard Hutsler of Montgomery, Alabama and the late Robert Eliot Bruster. Mr. Bruster was a member of Level Grove Baptist Church and was employed with ZF Industries. He enjoyed computers, hunting, target shooting, traveling and Auburn football. He also enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchild.
In addition to his mother, surviving are wife of 33 years, Dr. Debra Dungan Bruster of Cornelia; sons, Robert Bruster of Cornelia, Jonathan Bruster of Athens and Matthew Bruster of Statesboro; daughter and son-in-law, Laura Beth Bruster ElSherbiny (Mohammed) and grandchild, Omar ElSherbiny all of LaFayette, Indiana; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie Sue Courtney (Charles) of Montgomery, Alabama; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Donald Dungan of Hope Hull, Alabama; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donald Dungan, Jr. (Nilgun) of Izmir, Turkey, Ronald Dungan of Hope Hull, Alabama and Darrell Dungan (Barbara) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Diane and Gary Brooks of Hope Hull, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services are 11 am Saturday, December 12, 2015, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Terry Rice officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 am until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
