Mrs. Christine M. Smith Hulsey, age 83, of Clermont, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, December 02, 2015.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, December 4, 2015 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church cemetery. The Rev. Josh Chatham, Rev. Wayne Grier and Rev. Dennis Kesler will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel.
Mrs. Hulsey was born June 11, 1932 in Lula, Georgia to the late James Thomas Smith and Mae Saxon Smith.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Christine loved to travel, garden, grow flowers and cook for her family. She was a loving homemaker while managing the family farm. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings; Wiley Smith, Louella Thomas, Grady Smith, Clyde Smith and Harold Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack O. Hulsey, her son and daughter-in-law, Duward and Martha Hulsey; son, Darrel Hulsey; granddaughter and husband, Hannah and Eric Shaw; great-granddaughter Sawyer Kate Shaw. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws; Raedelle Smith and Agnes Hulsey along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
