Minnie Elizabeth Ramey Wilson, 84, of Tiger passed away November 29, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 4, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Adolphus M. Ramey and Minnie M. Watts Ramey. She was the loving wife of the late James A. Wilson.
She was preceded in death by one son James A. “Jimmy” Wilson Jr.; three grandsons, Gerry Quinton Smith II, Daniel Brad Garland, Glen White; two son-in-laws Odis Martin, Dale Watkins; three brothers, Myles Watts, Jerry Ramey, Albert Ramey; four sisters, Deles Tyler, Ruby Callenback, Ada Crone, and Ella Mae Carpenter.
She is survived by two sons Allen and wife Wanda Wilson, Terrell Wilson both of Tiger, GA,; four daughters, Linda Martin, of Eastanollee, GA, Brenda Garland of of Clayton, GA, Wanda and Gary Smith of Clayton, GA, Sherry Watkins of Tiger, GA.; Her special little companion “Bobby Booter Ramey; Two grandsons, Dwight Wilson, Douglas Wilson; seven granddaughters, Rachel Wilson, Rebecca Scott, Denise Martin, Angela White, Jamie Brock, Mianda Simmons, Jessica Smith; Great-grandchildren Angel McCurry, Kayla Erbach, Amber Jewel, Jason Jewell, Tiffany White, Madison Brock, Jacob Brock, Sydney Garland, Ashton Simmons, Andon Simmons, Cadence Simmons; one brother A.M. Ramey Jr. of Baldwin, GA; two brother-in-law, Robert Wilson (Alice) of Tiger, GA, Harris Free of Tiger, GA; two sister-in-laws, Mae Moon of Greensboro, GA, Glenda (Ed) Hefner of Mt. Airy, GA.
First of all Elizabeth loved her God and Jesus Christ. She read her favorite book the Bible Faithfully. She always loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She retired from Clayburne Manufacturing. She later worked at Stonebrook Inn for the late Warren Beck. She spoke with so much fondness of Sam working with her and having so much fun as a young boy. He deeply touched her heart by being so kind to her. “Mama” never asked for anything but gave everything she will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends Tuesday December 1, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Beck Funeral Home Wednesday December 2, 2015 at 2:00PM with Rev. Mike Cochran and Terrell Wilson Officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
