Ruby Tench Brown, age 72, of Cave Spring, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015.
Mrs. Brown was born on October 17, 1943 in West Aliquippa, PA to the late Walter Baxter and Willie Lorena Faulkner Tench. She was a member of the Baptist faith. In addition to being a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Brown was a retired food service technician with The Cobb County Board of Education with 20 years of service and most recently was a caretaker to the elderly. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin Brown; sister, Flossie Harris; and brother, Jack Tench.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Russell Henry, of Mableton; Lynn and Mark Bailey, of Rutledge, TN; sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Minnie Brown, of Demorest; Darrell and Pam Brown, of Cedartown; sisters, Dora Trotter, of Lula; Linda Fonclara, of Cornelia; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Evans officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.
