Conrad Doyle Holcomb

Mr. Conrad Doyle Holcomb, age 69 of 2430 Paoli Street, Comer, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Comer Health and Rehab.

A son of the late Conrad and Florence English Holcomb, he was born March 27, 1946 in Rabun County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County and the last 15 years in Madison County, Georgia.  He was employed with Franklin County Road Department for a number of years and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Standridge and Lois Bellamy.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Bridgett and Dale Ramsey and Tammy Holcomb Jordan all of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Darryle and Melissa Holcomb of Toccoa; six grandchildren, Brayden and Bristol Ramsey, Ashley Adams, Allison Jordan, Carly and Chandler Holcomb; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Jackson Pitts of Toccoa, Georgia; brother-in-law, Dempsey Bellamy of Toccoa, Georgia; nieces, Connie Martin and husband Wayne of Carnesville, Melanie Brock and Lorene Turpin; nephews, Jonathan Martin and Brian Pitts.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 30, 2015, 11 O’clock AM in the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Brian Pitts, Jonathan Martin, Terry Metcalfe, Terry Pitts, Wayne Martin and Captain Matthew Pitts.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Entombment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Mausoleum with The Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Conrad Doyle Holcomb.
