Louise McCurry Guthrie

Mrs. Louise McCurry Guthrie, age 73 of 212 Hilltop Lane, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in Atlanta,
 
A daughter of the late Dorsey A. and Ora Valene Kellar McCurry, she was born August 10, 1942 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life.  She was employed with Toccoa Drive-In Theater and later with Canton Starr as a hostess for a number of years.  She was a member of Collins Road Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by a son, Brent Guthrie.
 
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Marryie Grace and Clay Lockee, Ginger McJunkin and Raikol and Nick Adams all of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Trenton and Ingrid Guthrie Pflugerville,Texas; two grandchildren, Lynsie Adams and Rheanna Adams; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Joyce McCurry of Westminster, South Carolina; two sisters, Annette Scott of Toccoa, Georgia and Bonnie Faye Roberts of Carnesville, Georgia; number of nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 29, 2015, 4 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Phil Burgess officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Mike McCurry, Anthony McCurry, Mark McCurry, Greg Roberts, Heath Lyles, Tim Ledford, John Bass and Todd Lambert.
 
The family will be at the home on Hilltop Lane and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 5 PM to 8 PM.
 
Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with The Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Louise McCurry Guthrie.
