Henry Lloyd Williams

Mr. Henry Lloyd Williams, age 87 of 39 Lovell Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at his residence.

A son of the late Walter and Dovie Harvey Williams, he was born June 16, 1928 in Habersham County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was retired from Coats and Clark with some 20 years of service, was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and the Senior Saints of the church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Brown Williams in 2014.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca Taylor and Alesia and Charles Segars both of Toccoa, Georgia and Karen and Ken Brady of Eastanollee, Georgia; grandchildren, Amanda and Kevin Busha, Chris Segars, Joshua and Kacie Brady and Matthew Brady; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sister-in-law, Weba Williams of Toccoa, Georgia.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 28 at 2 O’clock PM at New Hope Baptist Church with The Reverend David Sosebee and The Reverend Jewell Gaines officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Joshua Brady, Matthew Brady, Kevin Busha, Jeremy Davenport, Michael Brown and Harold Allen.

The family will be at the home on Lovell Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with The Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Henry Lloyd Williams.
