Donald (Don) Gene Wolfe

               Donald (Don) Gene Wolfe, 84, of Oakwood passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

               Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial park Cemetery. Dr. Mike Reynolds and Dr. James Harper will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

               Mr. Wolfe was born on October 23, 1931 in Appalachia, Virginia to the late James Addison Wolfe and Elsie Marie Frost Wolfe. He lived in Hall County most of his life and was a graduate of Gainesville High School. Don served in the U.S. Navy. He was retired from Reliance Electric where he worked as a purchasing agent and was a member of West Hall Baptist Church. Don Coached little league baseball at Lyman Hall. He volunteered with Northeast Georgia Medical Center Auxiliary and the Chattahoochee Baptist Association. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin Wolfe and brother, Keith Wolfe.

               Mr. Wolfe is survived by his wife, Bobbie Wolfe of Oakwood; son, Matt Wolfe of Oakwood; sister-in-law, Betty Wolfe of Dacula and a number of nieces and nephews.

Don loved helping people and was loved by so many.
