Raymond Lester Wells

Raymond Lester Wells, age 81, of Cumming passed away Monday, November 23, 2015.  Mr. Wells was an Eagle Scout and a U.S. Army veteran.  He was a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and retired after 40 years of service with New England Electrical System. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert T. and Ruth M. (Downs) Wells of Edmeston, NY, previously of Riverhead, NY; sister, Phyllis L. Wells of Plattsburgh, NY.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Shirley Wells; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Christopher Coutu, and sons Matthew and Thomas, all of Cumming, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Susan Choi Wells of Brooklyn, NY, and sons Dexter and Elliot.

A Requiem Mass will be held Saturday, November 28, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church with The Rev. Fr. Tripp Norris as celebrant. Interment will be December 20, at Christ Church Episcopal in Plymouth, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Columba’s Episcopal Church, 939 James Burgess Road, Suwanee, GA 30024.
