Tim Jackson Douglas

Mr. Tim Jackson Douglas, age 75 of Oakwood, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Mike Williams will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Mr. Douglas was born October 14, 1940 in Pearson, Georgia to the late Tim Douglas and Mary O’Steen Douglas.  He served with the U. S. Army and was retired from ARA Services.  Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Myrtle Flanagan Douglas.

            Mr. Douglas is survived by his sister, Juanita Bell of Waycross, Georgia, sister & brother-in-law, Waunell & Billy Hall of Mershon, Georgia, brothers & sisters-in-law, Larry & Margaret Douglas of Oakwood, Jerry & Brenda Douglas of Waycross, Georgia and Ray & Wilma Douglas of Gainesville and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
