Betty Holcombe Crumley

Betty  Holcombe Crumley, age 84, of Demorest, GA passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015.

Mrs. Crumley was born December 25, 1930, in Lyman, SC, to the late Walter B. and Susie Taylor Holcombe. She was a homemaker and a life member of Grant Reeves VFW Post 7720 Auxillary.

Mrs. Crumley is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, General Crumley of Demorest; daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jo and Clarence Arrowood of Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Hollie Crumley of Dallas, TX; sisters, Shelby Ross of Greenville, SC, and Norma Hendricks of Pickens, SC; brothers, Furman Holcombe and Harold Holcombe, both of Greenville, SC; 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel in Demorest, with Rev. Hal Cason officiating. Interment will follow in the VFW Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, November 20, 2015 at the funeral home.
