Robert J. Tucker

Mr. Robert J. Tucker, age 85, of Commerce, GA died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at The Oaks at Scenic View.  Mr. Tucker was born in Daytona Beach, FL to the late Lott M. and Alma Norris Tucker.  He was a member of Apple Valley Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge #36 F. & A.M.  He was retired from the concrete construction industry.

Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Ruth Avent Tucker of Commerce; daughters, Valarie Tucker of Commerce, Charlotte Murphy of Pendergrass and Laura Maddox of Eastman; son, Spencer Tucker of Gainesville; sister, Sue Susbin of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 21 at 11 AM at Jackson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bill Thomas officiating.  Interment will follow in the cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6 to 8 PM.
