Louise King Williams, age 71 of Demorest, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Hall County on August 13, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Lee King and Helen Thomason King. Mrs. Williams was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed painting, reading, and flower gardening. She was retired from Ethicon and also Pruitt Healthcare of Toccoa as a LPN.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Sylvia Bowen.
Surviving are husband of 51 years, Howard Williams of Demorest; daughters, Sheila Williams and Shannon Hill both of Demorest; brother and sister-in-law, Lee, Jr. & Dot King of Mt. Airy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy & Bill Wyke of Andrews, NC and Susan & Bobby Watson of Demorest; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lou and Frank Martin of Dillard.
Funeral services are 2 pm Friday, November 20, 2015, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Dr. Tom Mewborn and Rev. Brian James officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
