Jimmy C. Dunbar, age 73 of Cumming, Ga. passed away November 16, 2015. Formerly of Decatur, IL, he had made Forsyth County his home for the past 43 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole Dunbar of Decatur, IL.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Kathryn “Fuz” Dunbar; son, Tony and wife Angie Strickland; daughters, Crystal Loggins, Shanna Barnes and husband Johnny Barnes; brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dunbar of Sand Springs, OK; sister, Jo Ann Dunbar of Sand Springs, OK; grandson, Aaron Strickland; granddaughters, Skylar Sims and Gracie Loggins; nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Troy Dunbar, Owasso, OK, Mr. and Mrs. Brent Dunbar, High Point, NC; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Allen, Lumberton, NC, Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Muse, St. Paul, NC, Mrs. Edith Baxley, Lumberton, NC, Mrs. Mabel Mew, Hamer, SC, Mrs. Anne McGee, Atlanta, GA, Ret. Msgt. Duncan and Tessie Baxley, Severn, MD, and several other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, November 19, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home, with Rev. Doyle DeLong and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating, assisted by Jack Moody. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at Ingram Funeral Home from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., and again on Thursday morning, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
