Glenda Loggins Bowen, age 74, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell Lee Bowen. She is survived by her son, Brent B. Bowen, Cumming, GA; step daughter, Andrea and Jeff Shoemaker, Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Olivia Bowen, Cumming, GA, Emily Bowen, Cumming, GA and Luke Bowen, Cumming, GA; brother Chris Loggins, Roswell, GA; niece, Julia Loggins, Roswell, GA; nephew, Nicholas Loggins, Roswell, GA; and special friend, Ruble Cantrell, Buford, GA. Mrs. Bowen was born August 25, 1941 in Gainesville, GA. She was a 1959 graduate of Gainesville High School. She was retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of Snellville United Methodist Church in Snellville, GA. She was also a member of the Adult Senior Sunday School Class at Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Patchin officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America in memory of Glenda Bowen.
