Diane Adams Skinner

Diane Adams Skinner, age 74 of Gainesville, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 following an extended illness.

                Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, November 16, 2015 at 6:00 in the Chapel of Memorial Park with Reverend Stacy Phillips officiating. Private interment services will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 5:00-6:00pm prior to the service.

                Mrs. Skinner was born July 18, 1941 to the late Maurice David and Onita Hammond Adams and was raised up in Chicopee Village. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a retired educator in the Hall County School System, having taught at Myers Elementary School. Mrs. Skinner was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sue Adams.

                Mrs. Skinner is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Reynolds Skinner of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and John Eagar of Dunwoody; daughter, Kay Skinner of Flowery Branch; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Becky Skinner of Homer; 7 grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Barbara Adams of Flowery Branch; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Peedee Adams of Commerce and sister-in-law, Lurene Williams of Kathleen, GA.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
