Wilma Jean Elrod Ledford

      Mrs. Wilma Jean Elrod Ledford, age 70 of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at her residence following a sudden illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Joey Yeary will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 3:30 - 5:30 pm and 7:30 - 9:30 pm at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Ledford was born December 11, 1944 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Walter Elrod and Florence Thompson Elrod.  She was retired from USDA Grading Service and was of the Baptist Faith. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Lamon Elrod, Bobby Elrod and Lewis Elrod and her Godmother, Ida Bennett.

            Mrs. Ledford is survived by her husband Coy Ledford of Gainesville, daughter & son-in-law, Tammi & Ray McClellan of Gainesville, son & daughter-in-law, Mike & Wendy Ledford of Gainesville, grandchildren, Michael & Chrissy McClellan, Matthew McClellan, Whitney Ledford and Lindsey Ledford, brothers & sisters-in-law, William & Penny Elrod and Don & Carol Elrod, all of Gainesville.
