Sara Ellen Stewart Dunagan

Sara Ellen Stewart Dunagan, 66 of Gainesville passed away on Friday November 6, 2015 at the Bell-Minor Nursing Home.

Ellen was born July 31, 1949 in Gainesville, Ga. to the late Leon and Claudine McManus Stewart.  A  graduate of Gainesville High School, Ellen was a member of the First Baptist Church on Green Street and  an active member of the Joy Sunday School Class. They were very supportive of her.

Survivors include her sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Calvin Sneed, Gainesville; Mary and Hartwell Mayfield, Lula; two grandchildren, Parker and Pairlon.

Ellen is preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Jason and Clay Dunagan.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday November 11, 2015 in the chapel of the First Baptist Church on Green Street.  Dr. Bill Coates and Rev. Bruce Fields will officiate.  The family will receive friends in the church parlor on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donations be made to the Ministry of Caring, First Baptist Church 751 Green Street, Gainesville, Ga. 30501.
